Licensed (LAC, LMFT) or Pre-licensed/Permit holder (Ph.D. or Psy.D) Therapist

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

I am seeking a motivated LAC, LAMFT, or pre-licensed permit holder (Ph.D. or Psy.D. candidate) to join my private practice in Succasunna, NJ, providing psychotherapy services to children, adults, and families. This is an excellent opportunity to earn supervised hours in a supportive, professional environment while gradually building a caseload.

POSITION DETAILS

• Position Hours: Must be available in person at least three days per week, including two weekdays from 3–8 PM to cover after-school/work hours. Additional days can be virtual if preferred. Saturdays are optional.
• Location: In-person in Succasunna at least 3 days per week. Virtual sessions available on other days.
• Compensation: Fee-for-service, 1099 contractor agreement.
• Opportunity to gain supervision hours toward licensure, if applicable.

• Pay: LAC: $45/hr; LAMTF: $50/hr; Ph.D./Psy.D. Permit Holder: $65/hr

REQUIREMENTS

• Master’s degree or higher in a mental health–related field
• Active NJ license: LAC, LAMFT, or permit holder (Ph.D./Psy.D.)
• At least one year of clinical experience providing individual and group therapy
• Experience working with children, youth, and families in a therapeutic capacity
• National Provider Identifier (NPI) number (or willingness to obtain one)
• Bilingual (Spanish, Portuguese, etc.) highly preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide individual psychotherapy to a diverse client population
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Maintain a caseload of at least 15+ patients per week, with room for growth, if desired
• Complete all documentation through the practice’s electronic medical record system
• Actively participate in weekly individual/peer supervision sessions with the licensed psychologist
