Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contracted school psychologist position is available to support an elementary school serving a diverse student population in Sahuarita, AZ. This role focuses on enhancing student success through psychological assessment, intervention, and collaboration with educators and families during the current school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to identify student needs related to learning, behavior, and emotional well-being
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to support student academic and social-emotional growth
• Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to provide insights and strategies for student support
• Participate in special education eligibility meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
• Maintain clear and timely documentation in compliance with educational regulations and standards

Qualifications:

• Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Valid school psychologist certification or licensure for the state of Arizona
• Experience working with elementary-aged children, preferably in a school setting
• Knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention techniques appropriate for diverse learners
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and staff
• Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced educational environment
