About Job

A full-time School Psychologist position is available in an elementary school setting serving grades K-5 in Kansas City, KS. This contract role spans from ASAP through 5/22/2026, offering a consistent 40-hour workweek during the school year. The primary focus is supporting the academic and behavioral needs of students through comprehensive evaluation and intervention processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychological evaluations and testing to identify student needs.
  • Implement and support Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) frameworks.
  • Collaborate closely with Special Education teachers to develop targeted interventions.
  • Provide specialized support to center-based classrooms.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss student progress and intervention strategies.

Qualifications

  • Valid Kansas School Psychologist Certificate is required.
  • Demonstrated experience working with elementary-aged children (K-5).
  • Strong knowledge of school psychological assessment tools and procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
