Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Mental Health Professional to join our Mobile Crisis & Community Stabilization team. This role is essential in providing high-quality support and counseling services to individuals facing various behavioral health challenges and crisis. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health and social work, with a focus on crisis intervention and adult/child family counseling. This position requires a commitment to improving the lives of clients through effective therapeutic techniques and interventions.
Responsibilities
- Provide behavioral health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients.
- Mobile Crisis Response
- Conduct chronic pain counseling sessions to help clients manage their conditions effectively.
- Utilize behavior management strategies to support clients in achieving their therapeutic goals.
- Provide weekly notes in BIRP format
- Offer mental health counseling services, including crisis intervention for individuals in acute distress.
- Engage in child family counseling to address dynamics affecting the well-being of children and their families.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress using ICD-10 coding standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams within hospital settings to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in the field.
Requirements
- A QMHP Certification is required.
- Mobile Crisis Response Certification required
- Experience in behavioral health, mental health counseling, or crisis intervention is preferred.
- Familiarity with chronic pain management techniques is a plus..
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- A commitment to ethical practice and maintaining client confidentiality at all times.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.

Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
