McNulty Counseling and Wellness is a therapist and family-owned private-pay counseling practice with four offices in the Tampa Bay Area. We are currently hiring a full-time licensed therapist (LMHC, LMFT, LCSW) to see couples and families in our downtown St. Pete office. All applicants must be fully licensed and have at least 2 years of experience.

  • Licensed Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, LCSW) to see primarily couples and families
  • Competitive pay of $90,000-$150,000/year (based on seeing an average of 25 clients/week)
  • Furnished, upscale office in downtown St. Pete
  • Flexible schedule
  • Please do not apply without submitting a cover letter and resume.

Expectations

  • Maintain a caseload of at least 25 client hours per week, with a minimum of 30 hours per week of availability.
  • Ability to work 3 evenings per week. Alternatively, weekend availability can be used to replace one day of evening availability.
  • In-person sessions on location, with occasional telehealth appointments based on client need.
  • Primary caseload of couples and families, with the ability to see individuals as needed. (Ability to see children is also a huge plus).
  • Maintain all progress notes in a timely and organized manner.
  • Get clients rebooked and on recurring sessions where possible.
  • Attend twice monthly group supervision.

What We Offer

  • Competitive pay of $90,000-$150,000/year (based on seeing an average of 25 clients/week). Our therapists are in the top 10% of earners for Licensed Therapists in the area!
  • Flexible schedule. We ask for 3 evenings and a minimum number of 30 hours open per week. Other than that, you are free to make your schedule work for you.
  • Furnished office in our newly renovated downtown St. Pete office.
  • Dedicated administrative team. Our practice is staffed with 5 full-time Client Care Coordinators that are dedicated to assisting established clients with billing, scheduling, or any other concerns, as well helping new clients get matched with the perfect therapist with them. This allows us to handle all of the administrative aspects of the practice, and lets you focus on being the best for your clients!
  • Dedicated marketing team. We employ a team of marketing professions that make sure your caseload stays full and that you are getting your preferred clientele.
  • Positive, professional and healthy work environment. Our practice not only hires the best therapists, but we also hire the best people! We strive to make sure you have a healthy work/life balance, feel supported and heard, while also feeling autonomous in your own therapeutic practice.

  • Minimum of 2 years experience with couples counseling.
  • Full-time availability that includes 30 hours of availability a week, with a minimum of three evenings (or two evenings and one weekend) open.
