JOB SUMMARY
The Substance Abuse Group Facilitator is responsible for providing individual and group therapy to our clients enrolled in all of our programs. This role is crucial to the clinical team at DeNovo Recovery. The Group Facilitator is a great support to the Clinicians on staff. The Group Facilitator is responsible for ensuring that each client develops the skills necessary to continue to live a life free from substance dependence after completing Treatment. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional time management skills and have experience in leading group therapy sessions and/or classes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform therapeutic and chemical dependency educational group therapy sessions in our IOP and RTC programs.
- Conduct Life Skills & Recovery Maintenance group therapy sessions.
- Conduct 12-Step Recovery and Big Book group
- Carry a caseload of 1-5 patients.
SKILLS
- Proven experience in behavioral healthcare field.
- Strong abilities to focus on team development and performance improvement.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
- Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
SCHEDULE: Full Time & Part Time Positions available
Full-Time; Tuesday - Saturday
- Tuesday: 8am - 5pm
- Wednesday & Thursday: 1pm - 9pm
- Friday: 8am - 5pm
- Saturday: 10am - 4pm
Part-Time;
- Wednesday/Thursday 1pm - 9pm
- Saturday 10am - 4pm
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Associates degree in healthcare/clinical field or 1 year experience in conducting group therapy sessions
- Missouri credential preferred: MAADC-I, MAADC-II, CADC, CRADC, CRAADC, RADC, LPC, LMSW or LMPT
PAY: Pay is based off experience and credentials
