Position Summary

William James Collegeis currently seeking a part-time Psychologist/Neuropsychologist to complete comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations and consultations for patients across the lifespan and provide supervision to interns, fellows, and practicum students in a fast-paced testing center. Our clinic sees clients from preschool age through adulthood but primarily focuses on school-aged children, adolescents and transitional-aged adults. Housed within a graduate school of psychology, we are a training clinic that values collaboration, ongoing learning and a passion for serving individuals from historically underserved populations.

Essential Functions

  • Provide direct supervision to practicum students, interns and postdoctoral fellows
  • Work closely with the executive director and administrative staff to help provide administrative oversight.
  • Participate in the interview and hiring process for all future staff, interns, and fellows.
  • Present at a didactic seminar two to four times a year.
  • Communicate with families and manage disputes with insurance companies as needed
  • Participate in a weekly staff meeting.
  • Conduct approximately 3 cases a month and participate in IEP meetings and/or school visits as needed.

Education and Experience

  • Doctorate in psychology and three years of job-related experience
  • Superb clinical, writing, and verbal communication skills. 
  • Prior supervision experience preferred
  • Willingness to be paneled with Blue Cross and MassHealth (under the group number for MassHealth).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Customer-service oriented with excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Familiarity with assessment of children, individuals with autism, and individuals with learning differences is preferred.
