This is a full-time on-site role for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner based in Dothan, AL. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for assessing and managing the mental health care of patients, providing psychiatric evaluations, diagnosing mental health conditions, and developing treatment plans. The role also includes prescribing medication, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.

• Skills in Mental Health Nursing and Psychiatric Care
• Knowledge and experience as a Nurse Practitioner in mental health care
• Strong nursing skills with a focus on mental health
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Possession of a valid Nurse Practitioner license
• Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Certification
• Experience in the behavioral health field is a plus
• Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
