Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavior analysis and a passion for working with individuals with developmental disabilities. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions to improve the quality of life for our clients. The BCBA will work collaboratively with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify behavioral needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement behavior intervention strategies based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including special education professionals, to support clients' overall development.
- Provide training and support to staff, families, and caregivers on behavior management techniques.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in the field of behavior analysis.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of special education practices and principles.
- Proficient in medical terminology related to behavioral health.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.
- Ability to perform patient assessments and develop tailored care plans.
- Familiarity with medical documentation processes and maintaining accurate medical records.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, families, and team members.
- Experience working with children is highly desirable.
- A commitment to providing compassionate patient care while promoting client independence.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $47.09 - $62.00 per hour
