Evergreen Counseling and Wellness is a boutique group practice in Evergreen, Colorado, specializing in couples therapy, individual relationship therapy, and discernment counseling. Position Overview
We’re currently hiring a psychotherapist with a strong interest in couples therapy to provide a mix of in-person and online sessions.
This position is ideal for a therapist who:
- Loves working with couples (or is eager to build that skillset),
- Wants support and training in high-conflict or relational work, and
- Is ready to build a steady caseload of couples and relationship-focused clients.

- $85–$100 per billable hour (provisionally licensed)
- $100–$110 per billable hour (fully licensed)
- $30/hour for admin time

Key Responsibilities
- Provide couples therapy and individual therapy (both in-person and online)
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations for clients
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and professional standards
- Offer crisis intervention and management to clients in distress
- Participate in team meetings and supervision (weekly if pre-licensed)
- Collaborate with leadership to improve care and systems
- Uphold high clinical and ethical standards
- Utilize telehealth platforms for remote counseling sessions when appropriate.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities
Qualifications
- Master’s or doctoral degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, psychology, or a related field
- Licensed in Colorado—either fully (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, Psychologist) or provisionally (LSW, LPCC, MFT Candidate)
- Experience working with children, families, and individuals facing various mental health challenges
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and clients from various backgrounds
- Available forboth in-person sessions in Evergreen, Colorado and telehealth sessions
- Evening or weekend availability (1–2 times/week)
- Willing to build up to 25 sessions/week (with flexibility)
- Strong interest in working with couples is a must
- Willing to complete Gottman Level 1 & 2 training within 6 months of hire
- Startup mindset with strong client retention
- Comfortable with—or willing to learn—Google Workspace and Simple Practice

Preferred Qualifications
- Prior training in couples therapy (Gottman, EFT, etc.)
- Experience in private practice or small group settings
- Bilingual or multilingual clinicians
