About the Role


Hobbs Properties, Inc. is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to help manage a portfolio of commercial office buildings and a quadplex. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our properties, enhancing tenant satisfaction, and executing value-add strategies that align with our investment goals. This position offers a dynamic mix of operational, financial, and customer service responsibilities.


Key Responsibilities

Property Operations & Tenant Relations

  • Assist in overseeing daily operations of assigned properties.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with operational standards.
  • Respond to tenant requests, service needs, and concerns with a high level of professionalism.
  • Coordinate tenant move-ins, move-outs, and walkthroughs.
  • Support tenant retention efforts and contribute to a positive tenant experience.

Financial Management

  • Collaborate with property accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Assist in preparing annual budgets, including capital improvement recommendations.
  • Manage rent collections, invoicing for operating cost escalations, and tracking payments.
  • Help monitor and control operating expenses in line with the approved budget.

Lease Administration

  • Maintain lease abstracts and ensure lease compliance.
  • Assist with lease renewals and tenant acceptance inspections.
  • Ensure all lease-related documentation is accurately recorded in lease administration and CRM systems.
  • Support lease negotiations and coordinate with leasing brokers to meet ownership goals.

Vendor & Maintenance Oversight

  • Work with the Facilities Manager to manage preventative maintenance programs.
  • Assist in negotiating vendor contracts and monitor service delivery.
  • Ensure vendors and tenants meet all insurance and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain emergency procedures and manuals; ensure life safety systems are functional.

Leadership & Communication

  • Report significant operational issues to the President or Director of Asset Management.
  • Represent Hobbs Properties professionally within the industry and community.
  • Ensure clear and consistent communication with ownership, tenants, and vendors.


Compensation details: 50000-55000 Yearly Salary
