Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Patient Care Coordinator to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring they receive exceptional care and support throughout their healthcare journey. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for helping others, along with relevant experience in medical or dental office settings.

Duties

• Schedule appointments, and coordinate patient referrals.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
• Communicate effectively with patients
• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with staff to facilitate efficient patient flow and enhance the overall patient experience.
• Utilize medical terminology to accurately document patient interactions and care provided.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as billing inquiries, insurance verification, and managing office supplies.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a medical office or dental office setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology is essential for effective communication and documentation.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills to build rapport with patients and team members.
• Proficiency in office administrative support functions, including scheduling software and electronic health records (EHR).
• A commitment to providing compassionate care and maintaining patient confidentiality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.73 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
