Vesta, Inc. is a reputable not-for-profit mental health organization with locations in Maryland. We're dedicated to providing comprehensive behavioral healthcare services, including clinic facilities, day programs, and residential homes, to support individuals facing mental health disorders.

We're currently seeking a compassionate individual who shares our passion for working with seniors diagnosed with severe mental illness to join our Aging Residential Program in Oxon Hill, Maryland. As a valued member of our team, you'll assist in coordinating client care and daily activities, including meal preparation, household chores, grooming, and medication monitoring. You'll provide essential support and oversight to senior clients residing in our group homes, ensuring their needs are met with dignity and compassion.

• - Full-Time Counselor
• - Thursday to Sunday (4 Days on, 3 Days off)
• Thursdays and Fridays - 4:00pm to 12:00am
• Saturdays and Sundays - 8:00pm to 8:00am

Qualifications:

• - Valid driver's license and ability to drive a 15-passenger van daily
• - Proficiency in using an eHR system for daily notes
• - Bachelor's Degree or 3 years of relevant experience in mental health
• - Experience providing skills training in residential or day program settings
• - Ability to pass background check and drug screening

Compensation and Benefits:

Pay Range : $19.49/hour - $21.83/hour, paid bi-weekly, with opportunities for overtime. Salary calculated based on education and experience.

Other Compensation: Employees are eligible for bonuses (variable, depending on company and individual performance) and paid training.

PTO: New employees can accrue up to 96 hours of PTO in the first year (pro-rated based on start date and hours worked). Employees can accrue up to 40 hours of sick leave per calendar year (pro-rated based on start date and hours worked).

Holidays: Full-Time employees receive 8 paid holidays per year, with overtime if required to work. Part-Time employees are eligible for overtime if required to work on holidays.

Retirement: 403(b) plan participation available at hire. Employer matching after 1000 hours of service. Discretionary employer contributions are given at least once a year.

Health Benefits: Full and Part-Time Employees are eligible for benefits beginning the first day of the month after hire. Benefits include Medical, Dental, and Vision (single and family), flex-spending accounts (FSA and Dependent Care).

Company-Paid Benefits: Full-Time employees are eligible for Long-Term Disability and Basic Life/AD&D. All employees are eligible for the Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
