The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Clinical Therapist (LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT, or Psychologist) to join our multidisciplinary team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive diagnostic, assessment, and therapeutic services to our youth clients. You will utilize your expertise to conduct in-depth evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and facilitate both individual and group therapy within the residential setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comprehensive Assessment & Diagnosis:
  • Conduct thorough comprehensive assessments and psychiatric evaluations for all incoming clients.
  • Utilize appropriate diagnostic tools to assess for a range of mental health conditions, including trauma, depression, anxiety, ADHD, and other co-occurring disorders.
  • Formulate accurate diagnoses in accordance with DSM-5 criteria.
  • Person-Centered Treatment Planning:
  • Develop and implement individualized, person-centered treatment plans in collaboration with clients, their families, and the multidisciplinary team.
  • Ensure treatment plans are strengths-based, culturally sensitive, and address the unique needs and goals of each youth.
  • Assess and document client progress every 45-60 days, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
  • Therapeutic Interventions:
  • Provide individual therapy to youth, utilizing evidence-based modalities tailored to their specific needs and diagnoses.
  • Facilitate engaging and effective group therapy sessions for all youth in the home, addressing relevant topics such as coping skills, emotional regulation, social skills, and trauma processing.
  • Implement crisis intervention strategies as necessary.
  • Collaboration & Documentation:
  • Collaborate effectively with House Managers, Direct Care Staff, families, and external providers to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive clinical documentation in accordance with agency policies, licensing regulations, and ethical guidelines.
  • Participate in team meetings and clinical supervision.

Qualifications:

  • Active, unrestricted North Carolina licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), or Psychologist.
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in a health or human service field from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of 3 years of post-licensure clinical experience working with children and adolescents, preferably in a residential or intensive outpatient setting.
  • Demonstrated expertise in conducting comprehensive assessments and diagnosing mental health disorders in youth.
  • Proficiency in utilizing various assessment tools for trauma, depression, anxiety, etc.
  • Strong understanding and application of person-centered planning principles.
  • Excellent individual and group therapy facilitation skills with a youth population.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with strong documentation abilities required.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Familiarity with NC Tracks is a plus.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards is necessary.
  • Strong skills in data collection and analysis related to client outcomes are advantageous.
  • Previous experience in providing psychotherapy services is highly desirable.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract
