We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to adults with intellectual and other developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will have experience working with adults, possess a strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles, and be committed to delivering high-quality care. If you do not have experience, we provide the training to become a Registered Behavior Technician.
**Responsibilities:** - Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques to promote positive behaviors and address challenging behaviors. - Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and update individualized care plans, ensuring that all services align with the client's goals and needs. - Provide direct care to clients, including behavioral interventions, skill training, and daily living skills. - Maintain accurate and thorough records of client progress, including data collection and reporting. - Demonstrate a thorough understanding of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations. - Educate clients and their families about behavioral health and strategies for promoting independence and self-advocacy. - Work effectively with a diverse group of individuals, including children, and maintain a patient and respectful demeanor at all times. **Skills:** - Experience working with adults and children, preferably in a behavioral health setting. - Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and behavioral therapy techniques. - Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical terminology. - Ability to educate clients and their families about behavioral health and strategies for promoting independence and self-advocacy. - Experience with data collection and reporting, with a focus on measuring client progress and outcomes. - Proven ability to work effectively with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. - A commitment to providing high-quality care and promoting positive behaviors. - A passion for delivering behavioral health services in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
