Specialty: Psychiatrist (Adult Inpatient)

Primary Worksite City: Bismarck
Primary Worksite State: North Dakota
Start Date: As soon as possible

Work Schedule: Flexible scheduling based on provider availability

Options: 1 week on/1 week off OR 2 weeks on/2 weeks off
On-call required during working weeks: 1 2 evenings/week and 1 weekend/month

Duties: Daily rounds on the adult psychiatry unit, attend daily multi-disciplinary teams meeting, communicate with patient family or natural supports, provide psych consults on the inpatient units, complete documentation
Staff Information:
Team includes Registered Nurses, Mental Health Technicians, Occupational Therapist and Assistant, Social Worker, Adolescent Psychiatrist, Unit Manager, and Director

Submission Requirements

Board Certification REQUIRED (can accepts Board Eligible Candidates)
North Dakota State license or IMLC (LOQ in hand) - REQUIRED
Residency Requirements/Fellowship (Adult Psychiatry) - REQUIRED
Malpractice to be provided by the physician or the locum agency - REQUIRED
Availability at time of name clear REQUIRED

Certification Requirements:

BLS
DEA

Credentialing Information:

Timeframe: As soon as possible
Requirements: Board Certified, Board Eligible


EMR: Epic

Patient Information:

Admissions/day: Depends on the need 2 4 (average)
Target Caseload: 12 18 patients/day
Case Types: Behavioral health: suicidal ideation, aggression, psychiatric crisis

Reason for Coverage: To increase adult census
Deal breakers: Promotes positive culture, Office is located on the unit
