Kutztown University of Pennsylvania enrolls approximately 7,500 students across its graduate and undergraduate programs. Kutztown University's Counseling Center is currently accepting applications for licensed mental health professionals to provide solution-focused counseling services in a full-time tenure-track position. The Counseling Center is located in the student health center, reporting through the Division of Enrollment Management and Student Affairs, and serves undergraduate and graduate students in a team-oriented setting.

Responsibilities of this non-teaching position include:
- Providing in-person individual and group counseling.
- Providing risk assessment and emergency intervention services.
- Providing consultation services to students, faculty, and staff.
- Providing clinical supervision of graduate practicum students.
- Providing referral services to external resources when a higher level of care is needed.
- Developing and implementing culturally- and trauma-informed outreach programs on a variety of topics.
- Collaborating with various campus partners and participating in campus service opportunities.
- A master's degree in counseling, social work, or a related field.
- Unencumbered PA licensure (LPC, LCSW, or psychologist).
- Expertise or special skills working with at least one of the following populations is required: Neurodiverse individuals, individuals with disordered eating patterns, military-affiliated/veteran students, NCAA athletes, and individuals impacted by substance misuse.
- Demonstrated cultural competency through worked experience with individuals and communities of color; LGBTQ+ individuals; working with people of various abilities, faiths/non-faith, ethnic backgrounds, and other diverse populations.
- A demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, belonging, and inclusion.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a clinical setting.
- A doctoral degree in counseling, social work, or a related field.
- Previous experience providing counseling services to college students in a university counseling center is strongly preferred.
