Position Title: Associate Marriage and Family Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic professional passionate about serving the community. This position provides a unique opportunity to develop essential skills for growing your practice while receiving ongoing, intentional support for career advancement. You will gain hands-on experience and learn strategies to diversify your skill set, enhancing your clinical work with clients.

Position Overview & Responsibilities

• Provide direct and telehealth-based psychotherapy under supervision.

• Maintain a caseload of 10–15 individual client hours per week.

• Co-facilitate one community training or presentation per year, as available.

• Participate in weekly supervision sessions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited university program.

• Active AMFT registration in good standing with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS).

• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.

• Ability to work in a hybrid setting (San Jose, CA).

• Proficiency in Zoom and video conferencing platforms.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients effectively.

Salary & Benefits

• Employment status: Part-time, W-2.

• Compensation: Percentage-based for clinical hours / $18 per administrative hour.

• Flexible work schedule (to be discussed during the interview).

• Supervision: Individual and triadic.

• Sign-on bonus (based on meeting eligibility requirements).

• No Medi-Cal or insurance billing required.

A background check is required as part of the hiring process.
