Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health and a passion for working with children. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for conducting diagnostic evaluations, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and providing behavioral therapy to support the growth and development of our clients. Your expertise in applied behavior analysis will be essential in fostering positive behavioral changes.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess clients’ behavioral needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on the principles of applied behavior analysis.
- Collect and analyze data to monitor client progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary.
- Provide direct behavioral therapy to children, utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
- Train and supervise staff on behavioral interventions and data collection methods.
- Stay current with developments in the field of behavioral health and participate in ongoing professional development.
Experience
- Board Certification in Behavior Analysis is required.
- Experience working with children in a clinical or educational setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and documentation practices is essential.
- Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and interpretation related to behavioral therapy outcomes.
- Familiarity with medical records management is advantageous.
- A background in behavioral health is highly desirable, particularly within the context of applied behavior analysis.
