Wholeview Direct an OASAS-licensed treatment program that provides addiction services using a fully virtual protocol is based in New York, NY. This practice seeks a CASAC to work with patients entering a low threshold treatment track within our comprehensive addiction treatment center. Our program provides exceptional care for people struggling with addiction and mental health challenges and we are seeking team members who share our passion!

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling and clinical case management using evidence based practices including Motivational Interviewing
• Work flexibly and compassionately with patients in the pre-contemplation stage of change.
• Encourage and motivate patients to engage and remain in care
• Include family members and supportive significant others in care management as needed
• Coordinate closely with other service providers including our team of medical providers (MDs, NPs, and PAs) and intake coordinators
• Participates in staff training, program development, and program evaluation, with emphasis on creating an environment conducive to patient’s needs
• Participate in supervision to ensure ethical and clinical boundaries are appropriately observed

Qualifications

Education: CASAC (CRPA a plus)

Experience: 1-2 years of experience working with people struggling with substance use disorders (SUDs)

Skills:

• Knowledge of Motivational Interviewing a plus
• Knowledge of MOUD
• Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive
• Must be able to provide care on some evenings
