Job Opportunity: Before and After School Program Staff (Club Kid)
Organization: YMCA of Middletown – Club Kid Program (Minisink School District- located within the Minisink Valley Elementary/ Intermediate School and Otisville Elementary School)
Position Type: Part-Time (AM, PM, or Both)
Start Date: September 2025 (Orientation will be end of August)

Are you passionate about working with children? Looking for a meaningful part-time job that aligns with the school calendar? Join our Club Kid Before and After School Program, where we provide a fun, safe, and enriching environment for elementary-aged children. As a member of our Club Kid team, you will be responsible for supervising, engaging, and mentoring students before and/or after school. This is an ideal position for college students, paraprofessionals, retirees, or anyone who enjoys working with youth in a positive, structured environment.

Schedule: Monday- Friday

AM Shift: Approx. 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM

PM Shift: Approx. 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Shifts may vary slightly by school

• Opportunities available for one or both shifts
• **We are also looking for subs if you can not make the full week commitment**

Responsibilities:

• Supervise children in a group setting
• Lead games, crafts, and recreational activities
• Promote social-emotional growth and safety
• Build strong, positive relationships with students and families
• Follow YMCA and school district policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Experience working with children preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be willing to get fingerprinted and cleared through the NYS Central Clearance as mandated by the NYS Office of Children and Family Services
• Must be willing to get an updated health physical and a TB test
• Have or be willing to obtain First Aid and CPR
