Long term Care or Subacute Experience Required

Responsibilities as Director of Social Services

• Experience as a social worker in a healthcare related setting.

• Experience within a nursing home or rehabilitation center- preferred.

• Must be knowledgeable of the rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern nursing care facilities.

• Strong, but comforting, communication skills with the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the public.

Qualifications for Director of Social Services

• Primary series of the COVID-19 vaccine required

• Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree-preferred.

• LSW/CSW licensure-required
