Golden Time Hospice is seeking a per diem Chaplain

Golden Time Hospice is a locally owned and operated hospice agency based in Santa Clarita. We are committed to providing compassionate care with integrity and high ethical standards. If you are a dedicated Spiritual Counselor or Chaplain with a true hospice heart, we’d love to hear from you.

We are seeking a warm, compassionate, and self-directed individual who can provide meaningful spiritual and emotional support to patients and families during end-of-life care. Our ideal candidate is personable, professional, and experienced in the hospice setting.

Responsibilities:

Conduct initial spiritual assessments, recertifications, visits, and bereavement assessments
Offer spiritual counseling and compassionate presence to patients and their families
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support each patient's care plan
Maintain timely, accurate, and high-quality documentation using HospiceMD
Work independently while staying committed to patient-centered care

Requirements:

Master of Divinity (MDiv) or equivalent theological degree
Minimum 3 years of experience as a hospice Chaplain or Spiritual Counselor (preferred)
Deep compassion and approachable demeanor
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented and efficient in documentation
