Admissions Intake Coordinator – Centralized Intake Team

Full-Time | $75,000 – $85,000 per year

Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Admissions Intake Coordinator to join our Centralized Intake Team. This key position is responsible for managing the intake process and supporting admissions to our skilled nursing facilities.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate new patient admissions to our nursing facilities once a bed is accepted
Verify insurance coverage for skilled nursing facility (SNF) stays
Obtain prior authorizations for new and returning patients
Send admission demographics and clinical screening information to facilities
Track and report admissions activity throughout the day
Collaborate with facility staff to ensure a smooth and efficient admission process

Qualifications:

Experience with skilled nursing admissions or healthcare intake processes
Strong knowledge of insurance verification and authorization procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well within a team
Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask
