Required-Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist

POSITION OVERVIEW

This position will be a member of the clinical services team at Catalyst Behavioral Services, Catalyst’s therapists provide an evidence-based approach to address each client’s unique needs and enjoy the support of a team of addiction professionals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The therapist will focus on supporting the execution of catalyst mission. The responsibilities of this role include:

Client Assessment:

· Conduct initial assessments to understand the client’s history, the extent of the substance use, and the impact on their life.

· Utilize standard assessment tools to diagnose substance use disorders.

Treatment Planning:

· Developed individualized treatment plans based on the client’s needs, goals, and preferences.

· Set achievable immeasurable goals for recovery.

Counseling:

· Provide individual and group therapy sessions to address substance use issues through evidence-based practices.

Crisis Intervention:

· Offer immediate assistance and support during crisis situations

· Develop safety plans for clients at risk of relapse or harm

Documentation:

· Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including treatment, plans, progress, notes, and discharge summaries.

· Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards regarding client information.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

· Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist or Under Supervision (LADC, LADC/MH, LPC, LMFT, LCSW)

· Prior work with substance use, and or occurring disorders is required

PHYSCIAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to sit over long periods of time and be able to talk, here, sit, stand, walk; use hands to finger, hands to feet, fill objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and stop, kneel, crotch, or climb stairs, lift and or move items of 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance, vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Must have excellent command of English language and grammar, both verbal and written. Must be able to manually operate and use a computer. Must be able to clearly hear and understand telephone conversations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per hour
