Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) - Decatur, GA

Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our dedicated team. This role involves delivering high-quality, evidence-based behavioral therapy to individuals, primarily children, with developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), as well as a passion for making a meaningful impact on the lives of clients and their families. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the success and well-being of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments to identify client challenges and design individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Implement and monitor evidence-based ABA interventions tailored to meet the specific needs of each client.
- Collect and analyze data to assess client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, family members, and other stakeholders to provide holistic care and ensure continuity of services.
- Provide training and guidance to staff and caregivers on behavioral techniques and strategies to improve client outcomes.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records in compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.
- Stay informed on the latest research and best practices in ABA therapy and incorporate them into clinical practice.
Qualifications:
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Required.
- Proficient knowledge of medical terminology and behavioral health practices.
- Extensive experience working with children, particularly those with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges.
- In-depth understanding of ABA techniques, including Discrete Trial Training (DTT), Task Analysis, Verbal Behavior (VB), and skill acquisition programs.
- Strong ability to develop and maintain detailed client records in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Additional Skills:
- Familiarity with behavioral health settings and working within interdisciplinary teams.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing documentation and client records.
- Ability to work independently while adhering to treatment protocols and guidelines.
