About Job

Are you passionate about helping individuals with autism thrive? We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technicians (BTs) to join our growing team! Spanish-speaking candidates are highly encouraged to apply.

Duties:

  • Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Collect data on client progress and behavior to inform treatment decisions.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
  • Teach and reinforce appropriate social, communication, and daily living skills.
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure treatment consistency.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a 40-hour RBT course is required; being Registered with the Board is preferred.
  • Spanish-speaking candidates preferred
  • A Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience working with individuals with ASD or related developmental disabilities is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to follow directions and implement behavior plans accurately.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and maintain confidentiality.

Skills:

  • Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
  • Familiarity with data collection methods and procedures.
  • Understanding of positive reinforcement strategies.
  • Ability to effectively manage challenging behaviors using appropriate techniques.
  • Experience as a teacher assistant, paraprofessional, or in a related educational/behavioral support role is preferred.
