Job Summary
The Homecare Coordinator will play a vital role in managing day-to-day operations related to client care coordination, scheduling, and communication with caregivers. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, and a passion for helping others. *SPANISH/ENGLISH*
Duties
- Coordinate and schedule home health aides for patient care based on client needs and availability.
- Act as the primary point of contact for caregivers and clients.
- Maintain up-to-date records of client care plans, caregiver assignments, and documentation.
- Handle staffing issues, last-minute call-outs, and replacements quickly and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with agency policies and state regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, case managers, and healthcare professionals.
- Assist with onboarding and orientation of new caregivers.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to caregivers in the field.
Skills
- Proven experience in a medical office setting is essential; dental office experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology to facilitate effective communication within the healthcare team.
- Proficient in providing medical administrative support, including managing schedules and patient inquiries.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
