Juvenile Detention Counselor – Pittsburgh, PA

As a Detention Counselor, you will work alongside the juvenile justice system, including courts, police, and service providers, to maintain a safe, secure environment for youth. Your work will be essential to a 24/7/365 operation, helping adolescents in temporary care navigate challenges and find a path forward.
What You Bring
Our new hires participate in a two-week, daylight, paid training program. Once training and clearances are complete, you will transition to our Highland Detention facility in Allegheny County, with travel costs covered during this period. At this point you will be added into the rotating shifts.

As a Detention Counselor, you will work alongside the juvenile justice system, including courts, police, and service providers, to maintain a safe, secure environment for youth. What You Bring
- A minimum of 60 college credits.
- Preferred experience in juvenile justice, congregate care, or youth-focused roles.
- Ability to pass a company-paid physical and obtain required clearances.
