About Job

```Duties:```
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations of students to assess their cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
- Administer and interpret standardized assessments to identify learning disabilities, developmental delays, and other mental health concerns.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide recommendations for appropriate interventions and accommodations.
- Provide counseling services to students individually or in group settings to address social-emotional issues, behavioral concerns, and academic difficulties.
- Assist in the development and implementation of behavior management plans to support students' positive behavior in the school environment.
- Collect and analyze data on student progress and outcomes to inform decision-making and program evaluation.
- Collaborate with school staff to create a positive and inclusive school climate that promotes student well-being and academic success.

```Qualifications:```
- Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working with children and adolescents in an educational setting.
- Knowledge of assessment tools and techniques for evaluating cognitive abilities, academic achievement, social-emotional functioning, and behavioral concerns.
- Familiarity with special education laws and regulations, including the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, teachers, and other professionals.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current on best practices in the field of School Psychology.
