We’re looking for a compassionate, detail-oriented
Patient Care Coordinator to support our patients and providers by delivering high-quality, efficient administrative care. This front-line role is ideal for someone who is organized, personable, and committed to excellent service.
What You’ll Do
- Greet and check in patients with warmth and professionalism.
- Answer and direct incoming calls promptly and courteously.
- Schedule, reschedule, and coordinate patient appointments, labs, and imaging studies.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record system.
- Process patient requests and provider orders efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front office, lobby, and shared areas.
- Help patients and families access supportive resources like yoga classes, support groups, and social workers.
What You Bring
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Coursework in business, medical terminology, or a related field is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of customer service experience; prior experience in a medical office is preferred.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Quick to learn and navigate electronic medical records and clinic systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Personal Traits:
- Friendly, empathetic, and respectful.
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and punctual.
- Team-oriented and open to learning.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Office-based role with regular interaction with patients and staff.
- Occasional travel between clinic locations may be required.
- Exposure to cleaning agents and the possibility of contact with blood/body fluids.
- Must be able to lift or push up to 50 pounds and sit or stand for extended periods.
