Newport Hospital, a hospital of The Brown University Health System and affiliated partner of the Brown Health Medical Group, has an exciting opportunity for a fellowship trained child & adolescent psychiatrist with an interest in working with adolescents to serve as the Unit Chief in our new adolescent inpatient unit. This is the chance to join a nationally recognized, world-class Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Behavioral Health at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University consisting of 51 child & adolescent psychiatrists.About the job:

Treat up to 8 patients per day in our Inpatient Unit
Option for additional outpatient work if desired
Dyadic Leader of an interdisciplinary team of psychologists, psychiatric nurses, mental health workers, and social workers
Join the largest continuum care program in the country that includes inpatient, partial, residential, in-home and outpatient services
Academic appointment to Brown University
Call from home <8 weeknights/year
3-4 weekends per year inpatient rounding
J1 & H1B visa friendly
