Full Time – Director of Admissions
The Admissions Director reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The Director of Admissions will be the direct supervisor to the Assistant Director of Admissions and all Admissions Representatives and will be in charge of quality control of the admissions department as a whole including all admissions related responsibilities. This is a salaried position that will require on-call duties.
Essential Job Functions
- Responsible for scheduling, training, timecard management, and reporting on admissions representatives when asked to do so.
- Responsible for maintaining a productive, professional, and positive work environment always within in the admissions department and Granite Recovery Centers as a whole.
- Responsible for following all protocols and procedures according to Granite Recovery Centers standards.
- Responsible for all documentation and communication practices of the admission department.
- Responsible for staff management and reporting any admissions staff negligence to the CEO directly.
- Responsible for maintaining referral relationships and proper communication.
- Responsible for quality control and ensuring accurate financial agreements, insurance verification, and all admissions documentation pertaining to clients, families, and referral sources.
- Responsible for reporting outcomes, conversion statistics, and lead management data regularly and accurately.
- Responsible for maintaining accurate census numbers and reporting when tasked to do so.
- Able to convey the treatment experience and program details to potential clients, families, and referrals.
- Must meet pre-employment and maintain all applicable state, national, and job-related guidelines for reference checking, background screening,10 panel urine drug screening, health screening, DMV (if applicable), insurance (if applicable), and license/credential verifications.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- 2+ years of administrative and management experience.
- HS diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s license.
- Must pass State of Maine criminal background and driving record checks.
Preferred Skills
- Substance abuse treatment history.
- Good understanding of insurance billing and collecting financial information.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- EHR systems experience.
- Excellent written and oral communication, time management and multi-tasking skills.
