Job Overview:

The Billing & Client Support Specialist is responsible for submitting client invoices with supporting documents using various delivery methods. Delivery methods would include client- and third-party portals (i.e., Service Channel, Verisae, Corrigo), email or, on occasion, mailing. The Billing & Client Support Specialist is expected to resolve submission issues, provide requested support documentation, and coordinate with PJS operations management to answer client inquiries and/or disputes. Attention to detail, self-motivated and problem-solving skills are essential for success.

Reports To: The Accounting Manager (with indirect oversight provided by the CFO).

What You'll Do

• Maintain an accurate, up-to-date billing system.

• Submit invoices and supporting documentation through client portals (e.g., Service Channel, Verisae, Corrigo), email, or mail.

• Serve as liaison between area managers, clients, third-party platforms, and the accounting team.

• Monitor invoice aging reports to identify non-payments, delayed payments, or discrepancies.

• Investigate and resolve client billing inquiries and disputes with professionalism and urgency.

• Provide timely and accurate updates to clients and internal personnel.

Requirements

• 2-year certificate in Accounting Principles or equivalent; BBA preferred.

• 3–5 years of experience in billing or finance roles in a deadline-driven environment.

• Advanced computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Teams, Excel, and Word.

• Understanding of sales tax law and interactions with tax authorities.

• Experience with client billing portals and familiarity with CRM or ERP systems is a plus.

• Fluency in English required; Spanish bilingual candidates will receive preferential consideration

• Familiarity with BI tools (Oracle BI, Power BI, Tableau) is a strong plus.
