A renowned mental health organization serving Queens is urgently seeking a full-time, Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to join their compassionate and mission-driven team. With many clients currently on a waiting list, this is a valuable opportunity to provide meaningful mental health care to underserved communities.
In this essential role, you will:
- Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy to a caseload of 15 20 clients,
- Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop person-centered treatment plans,
- Delivery of services in homes, schools, centers, and other public locations across Queens,
- Collaborate with supervising LCSWs and other care professionals to ensure coordinated support, and
- Maintain compliance through timely and accurate therapy note documentation.
To be successful in this position, you must possess:
- An active LMSW license in New York State,
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a mental health setting,
- The ability to pass a criminal background check, and
- Excellent communication and strong documentation skills, including timely and accurate therapy notes.
In return for your dedication and expertise, this organization offers:
- $75/hour on a 1099 contractor basis,
- Flexible full-time scheduling: 30 45 hours/week,
