Position Title: Structural EIT

Description: We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Structural EIT to join our Lakewood, CO Office in the Denver Metro Area.

Responsibilities
  • Perform structural design and analysis tasks for projects, including bridge rehabilitation and replacement projects under the oversight of a senior engineer
  • Prepare contract documents for bridge design projects, including design calculations, developments of plans, specifications, quantities, and estimates, and submittal of reviews during construction
  • Prepare detailed plans for assigned bridge engineering tasks
  • Occasional field site visits


Requirements:
  • BS in Civil Engineering required, MS in Civil/Structural Engineering preferred
  • EIT Certification preferred
  • One to four years of experience
  • MicroStation and/or AutoCAD experience preferred
  • Familiarity with AASHTO LRFD Code Requirements, familiarity with local market design and detail requirements preferred
  • Experience in conceptual, preliminary, and final design and plan production of bridge projects following Federal, State, and local standards, in particular, FHWA-FL, NPS, CDOT, CCD, and Colorado Springs. Experience in CA, WA, or OR considered a plus.
  • Familiarity with Structural Engineering and Analysis software
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in cooperative, team environments


Benefits: Salary range - $80,000 - $105,000 annually. Salary commensurate with experience.
