The Opportunity: Lease-Up Manager 

We’re looking for a strong leader and skilled Lease-Up Manager to take the lead in bringing new affordable housing communities to full occupancy. You’ll be responsible for leading the on-site leasing team, setting the pace, and ensuring that move-in goals and compliance milestones are met with urgency and excellence. 

This is a high-impact, fast-moving role perfect for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about helping families secure affordable housing. 

What You’ll Do 

• Lead the lease-up team at new communities, providing direction and support throughout the process
• Take full ownership of the leasing process from interest list to move-in
• Manage application intake and income certification through Rent Café Affordable and Yardi Voyager
• Set internal move-in goals, track progress daily, and hold the team accountable to deadlines
• Collaborate closely with the Compliance Department to ensure timely file submissions, approvals, and move-in readiness
• Respond quickly to leasing inquiries and maintain consistent applicant communication
• Solve problems proactively and ensure no file goes untouched
• Create a professional, welcoming environment that supports both applicants and team members

What We’re Looking For 

• Proven lease-up leadership experience in affordable housing
• Deep knowledge of LIHTC compliance, income qualification, and file review
• Proficient in Rent Café Affordable and Yardi Voyager
• Experience working directly with Compliance teams to obtain timely file approvals
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• High level of urgency, accountability, and follow-through
• A collaborative, team-first attitude with a drive to meet goals and solve problems
