Position: Insurance Risk Manager
Location: Headquarters – Moon Township, PA

Hours of work: Full-time position with hours Monday – Friday 9:00-5:00
The Insurance Risk Manager is responsible for managing the Company’s Risk Management activities including developing global insurance strategy, purchasing and evaluating insurance coverage, handling insurance and worker's compensation claims, reviewing contracts for requirements regarding insurance, attending key property site assessments and collaborating with plant management and engineers to mitigate property risk recommendations, managing insurance brokers, ordering Certificates of Insurance and maintaining and monitoring a Certificate of Insurance database.
Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to)
- Develop global insurance strategy and processes
- Develop and manage insurance budget for profit plan
- Review and procure appropriate insurance coverage
- Manage insurance broker engagement
- Attend key property site assessments and collaborate with plant management and engineers to mitigate property risk recommendations
- Coordinate quarterly meetings with the Company’s property insurance company to discuss annual risk report recommendations with plant and maintenance managers
- Monitor industry trends and emerging risks
- Process and monitor insurance and worker's compensation claims
- Review contracts for insurance coverage issues
- Order Certificates of Insurance for vendors and customers
- Maintain and monitor a Certificate of Insurance database for compliance of incoming Certificates of Insurance
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.), or equivalent from four-year college or university is required (Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field)
- 3-5 years of risk management and insurance experience is required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products is preferred
- Experience with regulatory compliance in the insurance industry is preferred
