Now Hiring: Psychiatrist Medical Director – Acute Psychiatric Services

Must be able to work on-site in Orange and San Bernardino County a minimum of 3 days per week.

Salary is from $195-$350K DOE and level of the role, as we are looking for one director as well.

Are you a board-certified (or eligible) psychiatrist with a passion for clinical leadership and program development?MatchBukh Talent Solutions is partnering with a respected nonprofit behavioral health organization to recruit a dynamicPsychiatrist Medical Directorfor Acute Psychiatric Services.

In this impactful role, you will oversee a multidisciplinary team while providing direct psychiatric care to adults and children. You'll help guide clinical strategy, program development, and care coordination across a growing system focused on integrated behavioral and physical health services.

Psychiatrist Medical DirectorKey Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat individuals with psychiatric disorders, using both psychotherapeutic and medication-based approaches
  • Provide medical oversight and serve as a clinical consultant to staff including RNs, LPTs, and NPs
  • Lead or participate in Child and Family Team (CFT) meetings and collaborate with local hospitals on transitions of care
  • Partner with agency leadership to develop new Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP)
  • Support strategic planning, integrated care initiatives (CCBHC model), and quality improvement efforts

Psychiatrist Medical DirectorClinical Focus

  • Primary and secondary mental health diagnoses
  • Psychiatric medication management with awareness of drug interactions and physical health implications
  • Leadership in acute and outpatient behavioral health settings
  • What We're Looking For:
  • MD or equivalent with completed Psychiatry residency
  • Board Certified (or Board Eligible, with certification within 4 years of start) in Psychiatry and Neurology
  • Active California medical license (or eligibility)
  • Availability to work on-siteat least 3 days per weekin Orange and San Bernardino County
  • Spanish language skills preferred, not required
  • Experience with youth and adults in acute psychiatric settings is strongly preferred
