Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in applied behavior analysis and demonstrate a commitment to improving the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities. This role involves conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing direct support to clients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments using diagnostic evaluation techniques to identify behavioral needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis principles.
- Provide behavioral therapy and interventions tailored to the unique needs of each client.
- Monitor client progress through data collection and analysis, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including therapists, educators, and healthcare providers, to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Educate clients and their families about behavioral health strategies and interventions.
- Advocate for clients' needs within community resources and support systems.
Experience
- Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
- Proven experience in applied behavior analysis, particularly with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to behavioral health practices.
- Experience in conducting diagnostic evaluations and patient assessments.
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and strategies for effective intervention.
- Strong skills in data collection methodologies for tracking client progress.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations concerning patient confidentiality and care
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in ABA, Psychology, or related field
- Active BCBA Certification (BACB)
- Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in Texas or eligible
- Strong communication and clinical skills
