About Job

Are you a dedicated and visionary BCBA/LBA looking to make a meaningful difference in a collaborative, values-driven setting? At PlayThinks, we do more than provide therapy — we create dynamic, engaging, and compassionate learning experiences that support the whole child.

We’re seeking a passionate Board Certified and/or Licensed Behavior Analyst to join our multidisciplinary team and lead innovative behavior programs that foster growth, resilience, and joy. With small caseloads, flexible scheduling (including remote work options and evening availability if preferred), and a non-traditional clinic environment, this is an opportunity to focus on high-quality care, not burnout.

Why PlayThinks?

Not a traditional ABA clinic – Our approach integrates play, creativity, and cultural responsiveness.

Collaborative team – Work alongside speech therapists, social workers, teachers, and rabbis.

Flexible scheduling options – 9–5, 8–4, or other mutually agreed-upon hours.

Evening clients available for those interested in later hours.

Remote work opportunities available for specific responsibilities.

Small caseloads – Prioritize depth and individualization in your clinical work.

Daytime clients available with no evening requirements.

Supportive work culture that values innovation and compassion.

Compensation & Benefits:

Competitive salary based on experience

Paid time off, sick leave, and holidays

Health insurance – several plan options available

401(k) retirement plan

Professional Liability Insurance (PLI) provided

CEU support and ongoing professional development

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).

Design and oversee data-driven, ethical behavior programs.

Supervise and mentor RBTs and Behavior Technicians to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Collaborate with families, educators, and allied professionals to coordinate care.

Provide direct services and modeling as needed in home, school, clinic, or community settings.

Analyze progress data, document sessions, and maintain compliance with BACB and licensing standards.

Provide crisis support and uphold client dignity and safety at all times.

Participate in ongoing training and contribute to a culture of clinical excellence.

Qualifications:

BCBA certification and/or LBA license (or eligibility for licensure in Illinois)

Master’s degree in ABA, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field

Effective communicator and team collaborator

Experience creating BIPs and supervising clinical staff
