BCBA Qualifications

  • BCBA Certification REQUIRED
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Experience working with ages 1-5 years
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time)
  • A definite plus - Ability to provide supervision to BCBA candidates

BCBA Responsibilities

  • Conduct behavioral assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis principles.
  • Provide direct patient care and behavioral therapy, focusing on individuals with developmental disabilities and autism.
  • Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills with patients, families, and colleagues.
