About Job

We’re seeking Recruitment and Admissions Counselors, (multiple positions) where you’ll play a pivotal role in guiding prospective students through their journey to becoming future physicians! This full-time position (with required travel) combines strategic outreach, event planning, and admissions support to connect students with a transformative educational experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent the school at graduate fairs, university visits, and conferences (local/national travel required)
  • Build strong relationships with prospective students, pre-med advisors, and partner organizations
  • Develop and execute a targeted recruitment travel plan with measurable outcomes
  • Plan and host engaging in-person and virtual events (open houses, webinars, interview days)
  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to create meaningful interactions for applicants
  • Review and assess applications for competitiveness and completeness
  • Track applicant progress and provide timely, supportive communication throughout the admissions cycle
  • Maintain accurate data in CRM systems; use analytics to support decision-making
  • Provide excellent customer service through various communication channels

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • 1–3 years of experience in admissions, recruitment, higher ed, or a related field
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work with diverse populations and speak confidently in public settings
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms (e.g., Slate, Salesforce)
  • Willingness and ability to travel solo (especially during peak recruitment seasons)
  • Valid driver’s license required

Physical & Scheduling Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods at events
  • Flexibility for evening/weekend events
  • Comfortable with extended periods of sitting and computer work

Work Environment:

  • On-site, in office with some travel required
