We prioritize individualized attention and long-term support. Our services include Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) with Methadone, Suboxone, or Brixadi; individual and group counseling; psychiatric evaluation and mental health services; and dual diagnosis care, all delivered by a collaborative team of experienced professionals.

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Substance Abuse Counselor to join our clinical team. The counselor will be responsible for providing individual and group counseling, completing client intakes and assessments, developing individualized treatment and safety plans, conducting treatment reviews, crisis interventions, and facilitating referrals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual and group counseling sessions
  • Complete client intakes, assessments, and treatment plan development
  • Provide crisis intervention and develop safety plans as needed
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in case records and electronic medical records (Methasoft)
  • Participate in treatment plan reviews and ongoing follow-up with clients
  • Facilitate referrals to appropriate external services and programs
  • Attend clinical meetings, case conferences, and team meetings
  • Engage in continuing education and training (e.g., workshops, seminars, in-service meetings) to maintain and enhance clinical skills

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Behavioral Science (e.g., Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Addiction Studies)
  • Current MCBAP certification (CAADC, CADC-M, or CADC)
  • LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) preferred but not required
  • Experience working with individuals affected by substance use disorder
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
