Behavior Technician (Part-Time) — Join RISE in Livingston County!
- Location: Holly, Michigan (client home)
- Hours: Part-time, Monday–Friday, between 4:00–8:00 PM
Pay: $18.50–$22.00/hour (based on experience & credential level)
Job Overview
RISE is excited to expand into Livingston County, and we’re looking for a dedicated, compassionate Behavior Technician to join our vibrant team! No prior ABA or autism experience? No problem — we provide training to help you start your career in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
As a RISE Behavior Technician, you’ll work 1:1 with autistic children, implementing evidence-based ABA strategies under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Your work will help build meaningful skills, reduce challenging behaviors, and improve each child’s quality of life.
Where You’ll Work
Setting: In clients’ homes
Primary Area: We have client openings in both the Washtenaw and Livingston County areas.
Service hours: RISE operates 8:00 AM–8:30 PM; this role is expected to be part-time during weekday afternoons/evenings (4:00–8:00 PM)

Compensation & Growth
Competitive hourly pay ($18.50–$22.00/hour)
Path to advance: Complete your probationary period and prepare for the national exam to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Monthly cell phone stipend to help you stay connected on site
What We’re Looking For
- Passion to help children with autism and developmental disabilities
- Strong communication skills for teamwork and collaboration
- Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and consistent case attendance
- Clear background check
- CPR (live-tested) and First Aid certification
- Reliable transportation (not dependent on public transit)
- Your own smartphone with data sufficient for online data collection and tele-supervision
Preferred but not required:
Experience with autism, developmental disabilities, or Michigan’s CMH systems
Familiarity with ABA
