A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the upcoming school year, serving a K-12 setting in Columbia, SC. This contract role spans the full school year from July 29, 2025, through May 23, 2026, working 37.5 hours per week across two school sites. The caseload will be tailored based on district needs and individual preferences, providing an opportunity to impact a diverse student population through comprehensive psychological services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students' learning, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Develop and implement intervention plans in collaboration with educators, families, and support staff.
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and assist in developing effective education plans.
- Collect and analyze data to support educational decision-making.
Qualifications and Experience:
- South Carolina Level II or Level III School Psychologist certification.
- Experience working with children and adolescents in educational settings preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school personnel.
- Ability to manage caseload efficiently and adapt services to varied needs.
