Schedule: Part-time, 2–16 hours/week, Monday–Thursday
Compensation: $35–$45/hour, depending on experience

Position Summary:
Seventh Direction is seeking a reliable and experienced Contract Substance Use Counselor to provide high-quality SUD treatment services for adolescents at a local offsite location. This role involves conducting assessments, intakes, group therapy sessions, and individual counseling, as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform substance use disorder assessments and intake evaluations
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions with adolescent clients
• Complete clinical documentation thoroughly, accurately, and in a timely manner
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA, KDADS, BSRB, and agency policies and procedures
• Deliver services in an ethical, professional, and trauma-informed manner
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, referral sources, and external partners

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing SUD counseling services
• Degree in human services, counseling, psychology, or related field (Bachelor’s or higher preferred)
• Active Kansas credential to treat SUD (LAC, LCAC, LMSW, LMFT, or equivalent)
• Prior experience working with youth or adolescents preferred
• Strong interpersonal, documentation, and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and maintain professional standards of care
