Job Summary:
The BCBA will play a critical role in our multidisciplinary team, focusing on assessing student behavior, developing individualized intervention plans, and overseeing the implementation of behavior support strategies. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with students, families, and educators to create positive and supportive learning environments.
Responsibilities:
- Behavioral Assessment: Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments to identify the function of challenging behaviors and develop effective intervention plans.
- Program Development: Design and supervise the implementation of behavior intervention plans (BIPs) that are ethical, effective, and tailored to meet the individual needs of students.
- Data Analysis: Monitor and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions, making necessary adjustments to meet program goals.
- Staff Training and Supervision: Provide training and ongoing supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other school staff involved in the implementation of behavior plans.
- Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, school administrators, and parents to ensure a cohesive approach to student support and intervention.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all behavior analysis services are compliant with state regulations and school policies, and prepare reports on student progress and program outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Education, or related field.
- Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and experience designing and implementing comprehensive behavior support plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, staff, and families.
- Commitment to ethical practice and adherence to the professional guidelines set forth by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $75.00 - $85.00 per hour
