Job Description

As a Social Worker at Francine’s Legacy, you’ll work directly with clients experiencing mental health challenges, substance use recovery, or trauma. Your responsibilities and supervision will align with your license level. We offer flexibility, team support, and real impact.

Key Responsibilities

For All Levels (BSW/LSW/LISW/LISW-S):

• Conduct client intakes, assessments, and treatment/service plans
• Provide individual and group therapy (where licensed)
• Deliver community-based, in-office, or telehealth services
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation (Medicaid compliant)
• Work with clients to develop life skills, resilience, and recovery goals
• Empower clients from underserved communities to achieve personal success
• Attend team meetings, trainings, and collaborative planning sessions

Additional Duties by License Level:

LSW/LISW:

• Facilitate therapy groups, individual counseling, crisis intervention
• Provide clinical feedback and support to QMHS/CDCA team

LISW-S:

• Supervise LSW and support staff
• Sign off on documentation, guide treatment plans
• Ensure clinical quality and compliance with OhioMHAS and Medicaid standards

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Social Work
• Valid Ohio license (or eligibility): BSW, LSW, LISW, or LISW-S
• Reliable transportation for community visits (if required)
• Passion for helping underserved populations

Preferred:

• Familiarity with trauma-informed care and recovery models
• Experience working with Medicaid or in sober living programs
• Training in motivational interviewing, CBT, or crisis intervention
