✨Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth! Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Career Counselor at The Cypress Creek Juvenile Correction Center in Lecanto, FL

Cypress Creek is a residential commitment program located in Citrus County Florida. It serves high-risk and max-risk youth ages 15 to 21. The goal of the program is to provide services utilize evident-based practices to provide comprehensive care, treatment and supervision.

Pay: $58,000 per year

Performance Based Compensation reviews are conducted annually (2%,4%, or 6%)

  • Eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance (at 60 days for Hourly employees and 90 days for Salaried)
  • Choice of Supplemental benefits, including Short Term Disability and increased Life Insurance.
  • Eligible for 100% 401k match of up to 6% of your salary after 1 year of employment.

To be considered you should: Possess a Masters degree from an accredited university or college in the field of counseling, social work, psychology or related human services field. Must possess a valid state driver’s license and have an acceptable driving record for the past (3) years. Ability to pass a criminal background clearance check, drug screen, physical and TB test. Completing assessments such as the Self Directed search (SDS), Career Thought Inventory (CTI), the Holland Code Career Test (RAISEC), along with personality assessments, interest inventories, skills assessments and values assessments. Must have excellent organization and time management skills. Ability to work at least 40 hours per week and designated schedule with the possibility of a varied schedule.
